We were the client first
I built Winning Hire after years on the other side of this: writing the job post, reading the CVs, running the interviews, and then watching a hire who presented brilliantly deliver nothing for three months.
I filled every seat in my own growth team: creative strategists, media buyers, editors, store managers, supply chain, service. Twenty-five people in that team, and a brand that went past $30M in sales. The 230+ are the specialists we have placed and managed since.
The lesson was not that good people are hard to find. It is that you cannot grade a job you have never done. So I built the standard I wished someone had sold me.
Nobody sells you judgement. They sell you a shortlist.
An agency sells leadership and staffs the work with whoever is free. A platform sells access and leaves the judging to you. Both are fine businesses. Neither of them has ever had to make your number.
